Welcome to Belgium’s first immersive lighting showroom, located in Brussels. Designed by LampTwist, this space helps you understand and experience light in realistic residential settings — both indoors and outdoors.
Whether you’re building, renovating, or simply exploring, this showroom lets you test and compare different lighting solutions in a hands-on, practical way.
What You’ll Discover
Step into lifelike settings and explore lighting as it adapts to different uses, moods, and times of day. You’ll move independently through the space, switching between four types of lighting:
- General Lighting
- Bright and dynamic, it ensures clear visibility of the entire space.
- Accent Lighting
- Targeted light that draws attention to textures, objects, or zones — great for adding contrast or highlighting a detail.
- Ambiences (scenes)
- Predefined lighting scenes that combine general and accent lighting to show how layered setups can create different atmospheres. These ready-made configurations simulate real-life scenarios like a cozy evening at home or a productive daytime setting, helping you compare and understand how light transforms a space.
You’re in control. Adjust light sources point by point to experiment with what feels best to you. Mix and match, and see how the atmosphere evolves.

About Calum
A space where coffee, light, and conscious living come together
Calum is more than just a café — it's a collaborative concept created by Torrefactory and LampTwist, located in the heart of Fort-Jaco (Uccle).
Designed to combine specialty coffee, quality lighting, and responsible food, Calum offers a unique setting where people can relax, work, meet, or explore design ideas in a thoughtfully designed environment.
The name Calum comes from café lumière, reflecting the two key pillars of the space: coffee and light. Every detail — from the menu to the lighting plan — has been curated to promote comfort, well-being, and inspiration.
At Calum, you’ll find:
- A specialty coffee bar by Torrefactory
- with carefully sourced beans and high-quality brewing
- A seasonal and mostly plant-based food offering
- developed with local chefs focused on organic and sustainable ingredients
- A curated lighting experience by LampTwist
- integrated throughout the space and showcased in the adjacent showroom
