Marie Cagniard Yeramian, a free-spirited, progressive woman, founded the SIARE ® loudspeaker brand in 1938. At a time when entrepreneurship and electro-acoustics were not exactly open to women, she ventured into founding a hi-fi company where innovation was central.
Led by Marie, her son Thierry Cagniard and Michel Visan (founder of the Davis acoustics brand), the brand pioneered the development of loudspeakers and boxes distinguished by their modernity and quality. That is how SIARE ® became the leading French manufacturer of speakers in the 70s and 80s.
Timothée Cagniard was brought up with this know-how. Together with his team, he continues the family tradition with passion. In this way, La Boite concept works with the same sense of innovation and quality.
From their own R&D lab, they work continuously to develop innovative and optimised audio systems to guarantee perfect sound quality from any source. The hi-fi speakers are produced locally in French and Spanish Basque Country. So they collaborate with the best furniture makers and tanneries, who ensure a high-quality finish with quality materials, respecting the environment and the surroundings.
